GENERAL Information
Public parking is available on Harbor Drive and on side streets near the Parade route. Parking meters are not enforced on the holiday. There are a number of pay to park lots in the area. VIP parking is in the south lot of the County Administration building. More parking information hre.
Trolley - Blue Line Stops near the Parade Route at :
COUNTY CENTER/LITTLE ITALY between Beech and Cedar Streets: one block walk or
SANTA FE DEPOT: One to two block walk.
Bus lines serving the Parade route area.
810, 820, 850, 860, 923, 210, and 2 stop around the County Administration Building. (Bus stops shown on Pacific Highway will not be in effect on Parade day and the bus routes will be adjusted to adjacent streets until after the Parade.)
2, 83, 210, 810, 820, 850, 860, 923, 999 stop at America Plaza, three block walk to the intersection of Broadway and Pacific Highway.

Note: All forms have been made into pdf forms so you can use Adobe Acrobat Reader to fill them out and save them to your computer. Save yourself the hassle of stamps and envelopes and email them! The email address is on each of the forms.

The Veterans Day Parade Week Committee depends on donations from the community to fund the Veterans Week activities and Parade. Click the “Sponsorship Opportunities” tab for ideas for activities to sponsor. To make a donation please fill out a Donation Form. For corporate sponsors, Form W-9 is available upon request.
Forms for Participants
- Entries must be received by October 12, 2011 in order to be included in the parade commemorative program.
- Entries received after the 12th will not be included In the program.
- Entries received after 1 November 2011 will be placed in the sixth division.

- Desert Storm Veterans: This year the Veterans Day Parade theme honors all of the men and women that served during Desert Storm. If you served in Desert Storm and would like to participate as an Honorary Grand Marshal please fill out and submit this form.
CONVERTIBLE Owners
V O L U N T E E R F O R M S
Convertible Owners! The Veterans Day Parade Week Committee needs you to drive Veterans and Dignitaries in the Parade. If you can provide a convertible, please fill out a Convertible Volunteer Form.
Volunteer Convertible Drivers will receive a Parade Baseball Cap and a certificate of appreciation. Please see General Instruction for instructions given to Convertible riders and also the City and Fire Department requirements for decorated vehicles.
V O L U N T E E R F O R M S
The Veterans Day Parade Week Committee needs over 100 volunteers to put Parade on the street in an orderly fashion on Veterans Day. Volunteers receive a 2010 Parade Ball Cap, a Certificate, and get to meet a lot of really interesting people.
Individuals or groups can volunteer. Groups can wear their organizations/company vests, jackets, shirts with their name and logo so the community can see you are supporting Veterans.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the Volunteer Form. Attached to the Volunteer Form is a list of tasks and the number of people needed.
